Lat's = Let'sI knew that. ;)
Those at least aren't "dark". I think I'll challenge you to writing a happy poem. As short as you like. What do you say?

I think the happy stuff hides from me until I sleep.
'Cause that's when stuff like that comes out.
Some of it is bittersweet, and some makes no sense to me.
(Had a few country-ish sounding ones get stuck in my skull. And to me it looks like gibberish.)
Maybe the happy stuff hides because it's scared ' me?

I'll give it a shot, not sure what the result will be.
At the moment I have no inspiration poetry/song wise.
But I do have ideas for drawings.
Unfortunately, items needed for the drawing are unavailable.

A song that I like by a really weird band.
Off their album 'wax ecstatic'.
Sponge - Velveteen
Deluxe, sublime
Gigantic for all time and Space
I wish for you the stars bow down
I wish for you their infinite Crown
In Velveteen I will surround
With Velveteen in your name
In Velveteen I will surround
I'll keep this Velvet in your name
I'll keep this Velvet from the Rain
So long - Sleep well
Your purity speaks well - as you lay
With all these flowers in your bed
With all these flowers you had lent Away
In Velveteen I will surround
With Velveteen in your name
In Velveteen I will surround
I'll keep this Velvet in your name
I'll keep this Velvet in your name
I'll keep this Velvet in your name
I'll keep this Velvet from the Rain

"Damn, you sure you don't live in Oregon. Replace Somali's with Mexicans and that describes us to a "T"."
Well what did you expect with all this liberal 'nation building' along UN lines, beginning to think America needs the UN & liberals the same way an anorexic needs syrup of ipecac! What if we start an organization to form something more conservative and call it something catchy like the Conservative States of America, I can even get us a flag with CSA on it from a small museum here?

Let's grab Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Northern California, and throw all the non-conservatives out. Go back to the Founders Vision
CSA sounds like a great idea. :-)

Think we can find others ready for a conservative life? By the way, why don't we deport libs all to california, the land of shake and bake, fruits and nuts?

Oh Yeah I'm sure we could find a few. W
We'd have to empty most of the Willamette Valley first, most of Libs live there. California or the New England States would be good to send them too. Don't really care where they go just so they're gone.

Sort of an America for the Americans (domestic and LEGAL immigrants) I like it, very catchy! And whod care if we sent them all to California, it could fall off into the sea and we wouldnt have to get too excited, Nevada would make great beachfront property!

All my good memories are bittersweet..Oh, I think that's true of most of us. We'd have to live in a disneyland world to be happy all the time, wouldn't be real. Real is good. It means we're alive to be able to experience both joy and sadness.
Try to write about just the sweet part, stopping at the bitter. ;)
