Those are so great - please don't stop.
Shootist - first get an old Shep from the pound or rescue folks, and then get a pup.
Both our poochies are the same age, going on fourteen, and it's going to be very tough going when one or the other crosses the Rainbow's Bridge.
They have been best buds for so very long now.
Just my observation on the matter.

Libby your cat and kitten pictures are just the BEST!! I grow catnip in my yard too and when I pick some and bring it in - my three just go all weird. They begin by getting that ears slanted out, eyes wild and then they tear around for awhile before collapsing on the spot for a nap. Any postion they collapse in will do.!! Mine just eat every leaf I give them. Daisy starts to roll around. LOL There is nothing better to get your cats to: a) exercise and b) put on a real show!!
