We have some cats around the neighborhood wild and this little mama cat that Budge feeds keeps having kittens, but something usually happens to them before the kittens are old enough to leave. Budge has a surviving one from a litter about a year ago and then she had another litter that we think a tomcat killed. Now there is another one. One of the kittens disappeared a couple of weeks ago so I started bringing the other 2 in at night. A few days ago the others disappeared. We looked all over for them and the mama was spending so much time hanging around in front of the house that we thought something had happened to them too. We even went to the animal shelter to see if they'd gotten picked up. This afternoon they turned up in the neighbors' carport. So now I have them in the house and think I will keep them here until they find homes. I think one of them is going to FReeper "parsifal". He wants one.
