I really like the new place. I wish I could stay put here instead of driving back up to waco almost every day (90 miles away).

Garrett had knee surgery again on Friday in Waco, and I have to take him back up there Thursday for a follow-up appt. The kids start school tomorrow morning at new schools. I am dizzy from how hectic the last 3 weeks have been, and this week will be just as bad. You would think I would be losing weight... but NO, somehow I'm gaining, and it's making me mad.

90 miles .. wow, that is a long drive .. especially in the hot summer. Well soon things will settle down and as for the weight things .. I still working on that myself

I haven't even seen him since July 9, but will see him tomorrow or Wednesday. I miss him.... but we talk. He seems to be fine.

It will take you to a bunch of great pictures. Start at Cindy Rogers and down. In particular look at Don McPhail. All of his are good but the one with 409KB beside it is astounding!! This fire is directly across the lake from David's Peachland office.!! We have a lot of trees where we are too and it wouldn't take but a spark from anything. This fire was under control until about 4 this afternoon when the wind suddenly came up. Any hotspots just took off!! This is scary.

Been fighting the various virus-worm wars down here...apparently a virus got on our server and has been giving everyone fits. The IT propeller heads try to tell me what to do...in Spanish!, and get frustrated because my computer has all the programs in English on it. Yikes! what a zoo.

We had a red sunset yesterday, said it was the smoke blowing down from Montana, I had a stop-light nearby to compare colors, and it was the same shade of red as the stop light.
