All of my xs supplies are in plastic bins in storage - I've done hardly any in the pat year, for obvious reasons!!!

The small projects I have recently done have all been from kits.

the stuff you did for work friends sounds very cool. well you will have time this winter etc. once you have the house the way you guys want it, to break the xs stuff out.i am behind on my ornament for my SIL, her bday was the day after mine and i didn't have it done in time! still working on that.
