I would have done them when my niece and nephews were born, but their mother doesn't have a sentimental bone in her body, and I didn't see going to the effort only to have them stored in a closet.

xs can ONLY be done for those that appreciate it. i fully agree. my SIL and i do xs christmas ornaments for each other each Christmas and bday. she is the one that taught me to xs. i look forward to my bday gift from her more than any other person!
