I don't want to pry, but did I miss where you described what kind of knee surgery?Total knee replacement of the left knee. The doctor says that's the only severe arthritis she has, and should experience significant pain relief and increased mobility. Still no word as to when, today, and it's 1PM local time.

Total knee replacement of the left knee. My m-i-l has had both knees and a shoulder replaced. I hope all goes well for your mom.

My Grandma had both knees replaced and was HUNDREDS of times better afterwards.
Her confidence level in her own walking went way up, and I think that was half of it!
