I don't know if you noticed one particular post I made on that *other* thread today. I said something to the effect that I think the guys in Tom's area in Baghdad would probably be more likely to listen to the opinions about the movie of a Hobbit Holer than of Viggo. And I really meant that.
I mean, Viggo can *say* whatever he wants. But, those guys are being supported by some real Americans who have opinions about the meanings of this movie. Who are those young people more likely to listen to - somebody sending them goodies and showing real support - or somebody who's an actor just talking? We're making our beliefs real to them. Viggo, is just rambling.
And these guys are gonna vote one of these days. I don't mind if a by-product of our support is some realization of American values.

I received my copy of the TSRA [TX state rifle Assoc.] Sportsman today. On the cover is the picture of Major standing in fron of a Sadamm mural. Platered on Sadamm's lips is a TSRA bumper sticker like this one:
