Sam; glad you could "read" what I meant to say instead of what I what I wrote. Meant can't not can. Sheeesh.

There is a great deal of debate helical fletching vs. straight fletching. The helical will or could, depending on your viewpoint, assist in preventing wind-planing of the broad head, by slight rotation in flight. Then there is the right wing vs. left wing debate as well. A few us fletch straight, less to remember that way. :-).

I hadn't thought about making the dart rotate, but since you mention it, it suddenly seems a good idea. How do you recommend, rotate or no? I feel like swearing right here, but have already been reprimanded for doing such on another LOTR thread :-D
