I had blue and gold...and Mom sent me a set of little white dove ornaments. White and blue and gold...and that green tree. It really looked nice.
I haven't had a tree of my own in awhile. Part of it is just because I now have a home to go to on Christmas and part of it is...that darned Tam! I think the other cats and the dog would leave a tree alone, but he wouldn't.
He's been a brat all day today. This morning I removed him from a place he wasn't supposed to be, so he promptly ran over and started sharpening his claws on the sofa, which he KNOWS he isn't supposed to do. He got yelled at for that, and then I caught him pushing papers off the table, for no reason at all. And on and on it goes. He's too smart for his own good sometimes.

Gold decorations, that is. Not lights.

Tam sounds a whole lot like Smeagol there this morning. Enough to drive you up the tree huh?

Rosie; cat story here; back in the first age, when LSA and I were in grad school, we had a cat, named Smokey Bear. When he had decided it was time to go bed, he lay on our papers and/or books till we gave up and hit the hay. He was a persistent little son-of-gun.
