I submit that a horse raised in a 10x10' pen for 6 months would stink too...and would try to get out!

But, also know that with two horses on pasture of 4 acres, poop management is still a major part of my life. If I don't spread it, I have a major fly problem within days.

Well, this is true...I didn't say it wouldn't be work! But certainly better work than clearing out a little pen they are in all the time.

Now here is another thing...this guy in the article raises 45 pigs on 3 acres! To me that is appalling, even for pastured pigs! I just want the two! I'm thinking 2 acres for the two pigs, that I would rotate back and forth.

He plants clover on the side that is resting...we do that in our garden.
