The Hobbit Hole IV – The Road Goes Ever On…
Posted on 08/04/2003 9:43:18 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

LOL!
Good morning!
I am supposed to go on a walk in five minutes with ecurbh, and I think the bed head is still asleep!
I guess this means I can have another cup of coffee!

I am enjoying my coffee, and listening to a little Beatles.
And I don't have shoes on, so I can't say I am really 'ready' anyhow.

Whew. Took a wrong turn, so it ended being a bit longer than I planned. Gonna take a shower too.

Heh. Thought it would loop back around, but it turned out to be a cul-de-sac instead.

You got lost? HA!
Gidget Pics from walk. As you can tell, we still need a LOT more rain. Rainy Northwest.... phooey.
Rain WANTED! I am starting to wear quite a path from all the walking.
Heh.... was trying to get down to Gidget's level to get a good pic, dog pics are better when you aren't LOOMING over them.... but whenever I bent down she did this.
After one time around, this is Gidget reluctantly coming back from her dash to the house - "OK, I'll go 'round again...." (That is as far as the cat got today) Horses are up in the lawn by the house.

Wow, we are about that dry too. So many of the lawns are looking "Arizona green".
Time to get some lunch and head out. I'll check in when I get to work.
To: ecurbh
Golly, where is everyone today?
To: ecurbh
They are gettin' churched up and I am getting my life in order in my own way!
How's work?

Heh, not too bad today, but there's a supervisor interloper on duty. There is still hope, though! ;-D

Ok...here's the breakdown:
4x4" by 8' posts $5 each (We got 14)
6' tall, 8' long Pressure-treated dog-ear "stockade" fence panel $27.70 (we got 13)
80lb Bags of quik-crete $3 each (we used 16)
Box of deck/fence screws...$16 per box.
Post leveler $5
We have a post hole digger that Steve borrowed, so we didn't have to purchase one and we also had the drill used to drill the screws that screwed the panels onto the posts.
The whole thing cost us about $500.
