The Hobbit Hole IV – The Road Goes Ever On…
Posted on 08/04/2003 9:43:18 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Just curious. We saw it when we lived in D.C. It's very dark.

Funny they used the movie pic instead of something from Broadway. I actually saw Grease in New York back in 1977 (not long after Elvis died in fact...)
To: Corin Stormhands
I was 10 when Elvis died and I wasn't even born when Kennedy was shot. ;^)

I wasn't even born when Kennedy was shot. Any paricular reason you feel the need for an alibi?

Okay folks, I'm headin' out. Had all I can stand of this place.
I'll check in tonite. I think Jr. and I will watch The Ring, so I may have a need to chat afterward...

I love Phantom of the opera. I'm actually a supporter in the Internet campaign that is working to bring Michael Crawford to the part on the Big Screen.
http://www.phantommovie.com/ Did no good though. I got an email recently that someone else was selected. I just can't see someone else doing the part.

I try not to mess around with coding, as I tend to make non-solubrious manifestations of technology appear.
(DSheare, we bring bad tech to half-life..)
If it isn't supposed to crash like that, I can make it do so. I'm the guy who can make Macs crash out and do otherwise odd things (under normal use) that make Mac users wince. I stick to Windows machines because I have an easier time undoing whatever it is that I tricked or forced the machine to do.
I am cursed with technology.

BTW
I isolated the bad DNS return problem, and have decided it is NOT comcast's doing. It was PC Cillan's Web Security option.
I turned it on after the latest worm, and immediately had the problem again all day yesterday. I had not had a bad DNS return since the last time I turned it off in my trouble shooting months ago.
However, today, I got a notice that my subscription for PC Cillan was running out, and bought the new version of PC Cillan 2003. Turned everything on and so far all is well!
Keep in mind if you have trouble with yours up at the bachelor pad.... It isn't Comcast, I am sure of it now, it is a weird conflict with the old version of PC Cillan.

Answered!
ecurbh - Did you hide the Entmoot catagory to view by unregistered people?
I think it is good if you did, but it is confusing some folk!
