Sam; Heck, do up some of each, and see which work best for you. There are numerous variables, fletching being one of them. Spine or flexibility is another both in the dart and the atl-atl; presentation and delivery is right up there. Consistency is critical to accuracy.

Has anybody heard from Jonsie about that APO address? I just ordered another 10 knives, because I have a feeling we'll be needing them. I feel better when I have a few on hand for quick deployment.
I'm also getting a line on another potential "adoptee" heading to Iraq. He's the son of a friend of a friend, and like any other GI, you can never have enough coming via mail from back home.

Platoon Shipment Today Hey everybody. I mailed 2 packages today. First off to Tom's platoon I mailed a box of tortilla chips packed with 6 cans of bean dip and 1 baggie of my homemade dehydrasalsa that will make a quart of salsa Sorry, but this photo was blurry.
And, for Graybeard58's son Steve, who is a cop and loves donuts.....
......a box of donuts. But, that didn't seem like enough so I added some stuff.
I added 3 packs of gum and then filled up the "empty" space in the box with a few Atomic Fireballs.
So, here's our Hobbit Hole shipment for today.

You've been busy. Samwise Jr.'s teacher thanked us for all the stuff we sent in for her soldier. He let her show it all to the class to encourage them to send stuff in. It worked. He got their competetive streak going. He said they sent two huge boxes.

And I didn't know if he liked hot stuff or not -- but fireballs are the hard candy that I keep sitting around here and that box had empty space in it. If he doesn't like 'em he can share! :-)
