Hate to say this but with the pres in residence there is no way I'm gonna get anywhere near getting Frodo in view of the ranch. Got lots of other good places to go. But, next week. I think the ranch is out. What do ya'll think about a photo at the low water crossing upriver from the ranch? Best I can think of.

yeah... it was a permenant tooth... the dentist said there was no chance savin' it, but we'll see what the oral surgeon said... I guess the guy we're seein' is highly respected in the state... but this is Missouri, and that may not mean much...

Ouch...that sounds REALLY painful! Adding her to my prayers!
I got a chuckle out of her being careful with the blood...I can think of a time or two when I wasn't so good...though thoughts for the carpet usually didn't enter into it one way or another...mostly it was a matter of "Hey look, Mom! My finger's spouting blood!"

With eight of us, five being boys...we had our share of mishaps! Some of us were more accident prone than others. I was always one ended up learning a lot of lessons by experience...Dad showed us all the proper way to open and close a pocket knife, for example, and what not to do with them (ours didn't lock, so anything that put them at risk of suddenly closing on us was a bad idea...) I have scars to prove I'm sometimes a slow learner. ;)

Hey mrsnad, I'm been cleaning house ALL DAY! There are too many skeeters to go outside, due to the recent rain. I mean they eat you alive, so we've stayed in all day. So I got a jump on my fall cleaning and organizing.
It looks so nice.
I anticipate it lasting about 3 days.

Hi, 2J! I didn't get very far with my own cleaning. Kept getting distracted.
Did make honey cracked wheat bread. I'm having the heel right now - still warm from the oven. It turned out WONDERFUL, if I do say so myself!
Why I decided to make bread when it's too hot to sleep, I dunno. But hey, now I have something to eat while I stay up late hoping it cools down eventually. That's positive!
