Actually I think that should be more like 1/4 cup molasses. It turned out fairly sweet, and I don't think I used a whole third of a cup.

Juvenile court is an amazing place.
We had an incident in a city school last week where the teacher told a 15-year-old boy to get off the phone (there are phones now installed in each classroom, it's a post-Columbine thing).
The "boy" knocked her down and beat the crap out of this 50ish woman (she's been teaching for 32 years). The school board rep. for the district came out and said "There shouldn't be phones in the classroom."
Yeah, butthead, there shouldn't be hoodlums either. Lock the little s.o.b. up.

Well the time has come to start packing up the desk chair and computer, so this is ecurbh signing off from Minnesota. I saw the video of the ten year(?) anniversary of the musical and there were parts that brought me to tears. It is an amazing story of grace. If you get the chance to see the full musical, do it. It's closed on Broadway and I don't know if it's touring or not. But it's one of the most incredible stage productions I've ever seen.

Fergot to tell yuh, it was a good thing my cell phone was off yesterday when you tried to call. Jr. had used it Sunday night when he went bowling with the youth group. He has a tendency to reset the ring...grrr...
