Well, as I know about these things, you can't really look at anything and get hopeful...but I'm just impressed that he puts himself out like that after only knowing me for a couple of hours. That's good character in my book.
And yeah, it doesn't hurt in these bleak times to have any little glimmer out there in the darkness.

Is Civ III good (I had Civ I a long time ago, but none of them since)?

That was before he turned to elf bashing, it appears. ;) Sounded to me like an Elrond bash.

Good Evening All; Samantha walked and content on the couch.
Bear: Great Job indeed; Thanks very much. Seems like a long time ago. We have all traveled far and seen much since then.
Hair; effecient, yes, but lacking your spontenaity, ratz, uh, timeliness (I can spell that)
Scott; best of luck "it may serve to light your way when all other lights fail" or words to that effect.
OT; AHA, I sense a "theme" emerging. Perhaps is a good thing, No?

Well folks, I caught up a bit and now I am off to lay down for a bit. My mom and I went for a LONG drive across the state to Fort Myers then back down to Naples then back to Miami. Beautiful west coast beaches....*sigh*
Over 50% of the trip was in very heavy downpours! I'm talking lightening and high winds! Kind of scary for a Hobbit lass like me who avoids dangerous adventures of that sort. But I made it back and, in hindsight, it was fun!
Anyway, I'll be back later if I'm not asleep!
Corin - welcome back, Master Dwarf! We missed you!
WN - glad you are safe, sis. I hope I'll see you later!
OT - I'm glad your back from mini-moot II, in good spirits and posting again! :)
Bye everyone!

I sense a "theme" emerging. Perhaps is a good thing, No? Heh...more like I got tired on trying to decide on colors so I just painted them all the same...except for the bathroom.

I'll need OB to show me where you buy Irish Creme over there.

Hullo all... sorry to have been rather scarce the last few days... we've been dealin' with an accident and entertainin' imposin' neighbors...
our 7 y/o she-dwarvling fell in the shower Thursday night, and broke off er left front tooth, drivin' the base of the tooth into her pallet... she's a trooper... she didn't get out of the shower because she didn't want to get blood on the carpet...
got her to the dentist the next mornin', and she's gotta referral to an oral surgeon on Thursday... this is a consult, don't know when they'll work on her... so we're keepin' a close eye on her fer signs of infection...
the real joy is, my dental coverage lapsed this month in the transition to the retired system (my fault, inexcusable) so this'll cost us...
as fer entertainin' not that bad... would've killed fer a beer though... dontcha hate it when folks make plans fer yuh?...

Ouch! - I shudder just thinking about that g'nad!
Are they gonna save the tooth you think? Is this a permanent tooth? I know it sounds silly but I can't exactly remember when the tooth change thing happens, and my family doesn't get teeth till later than most.

When I cracked that tooth, the dentist prescribed an antibiotic....that's how I found out I was allergic to amoxycillin.
To: g'nad
Glad she's a trooper g'nad. We will be prayin' for her!
