The Hobbit Hole IV – The Road Goes Ever On…
Posted on 08/04/2003 9:43:18 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Funny we got into this pie discussion today. I was just thinking last night that if I get to go to entmoot early I would like to bake up a whole bunch of pies. I like pie almost as much as I like elves and pirates.

Note to self: Jen don't want none of my pies at entmoot.
Actually I have one wonderful pie recipe that has pecans in it. It's not exactly a pecan pie though. Got lots of cream cheese in there. Only a little sweet. And pecans. Think that one might work?

Turkey and dressing and mashed potatos. I make purty good dressin' too. I've had lots of favorable comments on it at any rate.

But, you're a wizard, not a pirate.
I'd still bake you a pie if you was to come to entmoot.
