The Hobbit Hole IV – The Road Goes Ever On…
Posted on 08/04/2003 9:43:18 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Okay, 2J, that privacy shower part wasn't it. We just got the shower. No privacy. LOL
I would not mind taking a look to see if it was working all right for them!

I think they cancelled my York, which is gonna hack me off royally, because I sent in some film and they already sent me an email saying it would be applied to my albums.

You know what? Guinness, and other Stouts, were originally developed as *women's* brews. Lagers and Ales were typically much stronger and dryer. The darker (and oddly enough, slightly lower alcohol) brews were somewhat sweeter and intended for women to drink. But that was many many moons ago...

I think my little brother wants to think of the wimmin other than his sister doing other things. LOL He'd fit in well with the dwarves here.

What a drag! - I got another warning, but I have already switched over to using some free space through my ISP.
But I need to copy some of the RoTK spoiler pics that aren't easy to find elsewhere over from York before they delete them.

I think it was the exacto knife that I was using as a really small screwdriver.
That was NOT a good idea!
I don't like having a zillion different tools, but I at least have a swiss tool (not a swiss army knife) and use the screwdriver! Not a blade!
Sigh. I miss the old days of 10-Base-2. I could make a cable end with a leatherman no problem. Can't do that with UTP. Of course, I haven't had to make connectors of any sort for years, so why am I whining?
But I liked working with coax! Too bad it was so slow...

No - they are working fine.
I missed the deer. She is probably back in the witch's circle, was headed that way. I should put a salt lick and some deer treets out there...
g'nad, would a deer like horse grain? - or just roughage-hay?

They are terrified of deer. Coyote: no problem... deer: KILLER! Domestication and familiarity with dogs has kinda messed with the instincts God gave them.
