Per Gandalf saying he comes to that part of the South for vacation put me in mind of the end of the Disney animated version of "King Arthur"...after the boy is crowned, Merlin comes sailing in wearing bermuda shorts and ratty straw hat.
I think Gandalf should have dressed like that.

Lets see how much Spanish I remember from HS. "Tarjeta verde" would be "green card", and I think "zapato" means "shoe." So I think it's "My green card is in my shoe," correct MBY?

The ER doc and the ortho doc were wrong. The MRI showed a broken bone, which will heal naturally. All of that prayer worked. I am truly amazed. The ortho doc was pretty convinced it was a torn ACL, which is dangerous to fix in a youngster whose growth plate hasn't closed.
I am soooooooooooo happy! She will be OK!

The one that still chuckles me is Gandalf has his whiskers clipped up with little clips, to keep them dry in the jacuzzi.

She will be OK!
Good news. Glad to hear it!

She is in a brace and on crutches. The surgeon will see her every three weeks to monitor. She can't use the knee, but she should be good as new when she heals.
She is bummed. She just doesn't understand how close she came to some really bad stuff.
We are going to Kentucky tomorrow. Some spoiling by grandma and some cousins will do her good.
