A Dream Within A Dream
Take this kiss upon the brow!
And, in parting from you now,
Thus much let me avow -
You are not wrong, who deem
That my days have been a dream;
Yet if hope has flown away
In a night, or in a day,
In a vision, or in none,
Is it therefore the less gone?
All that we see or seem
Is but a dream within a dream.
I stand amid the roar
Of a surf-tormented shore,
And I hold within my hand
Grains of the golden sand-
How few! yet how they creep
Through my fingers to the deep,
While I weep while I weep!
O God! can I not grasp
Them with a tighter clasp?
O God! can I not save
One from the pitiless wave?
Is all that we see or seem
But a dream within a dream?
~ Edgar Allan Poe (1827)
Then I lift my heavy hand
Open wide to loose the sand
Golden grains float in a cloud
Softly fall, lost in the crowd
Of fellow scattered dreams -
Nothing was as it seemed
Yet not one is ever gone
The tiny grains live on and on
Where is the man who can say
O God make this one go away!
Each created dream will stay.
Come lie with me among these dreams
In love more real than e'er it seemed
Someday someday someday!

This is a pic of the new Safari Trek RV our friends Pat and Ernie in FL just bought.
It is a 26' with the room of a 36'. The bed and closets fold away in the ceiling. It has a comple full bath and kitchen with Corian counters.
This is the painting on the back. They all have original paintings, and there are about 20 other animals painted in the Lion's fur. She has found almost all of them.

Mom... are you checking this out? ;)
