You got me researching NW Washington State for maps, I tried to find that inlet you had a snap of yesterday. Sure are a number of cute little towns around there, seems like an excellent place to explore, with a poncho and an umbrella.

If you are into backpacking there is the northwest coast of WA. No roads and you hike the beach..Best if you have someone pick you up at the finish end....I started at Lake Ozette and hiked 2 days south, then turned around and retraced the route...Get to scramble over headlands and from rock to rock...Have to watch the tides so you don't get trapped at the base of a cliff you can't scale...lol
