As CG said, I haven't read the thread, so I don't know what the context was, but I think it's true we often don't cherish what we have. Hubby and I celebrated our 10th anniversary in April. No, we don't know what each day will bring. Does this mean I can't get grumpy when he doesn't pick up after himself?

No, you can get grumpy especially if he doesn't pick up his casings! Naw, just because we get grumpy with our other half doens't mean we don't cherish them...but sometimes they do need a wakeup call about some of the little things. And at the end of the day when you turn out the lights, if there is that little goodnite thing between you, you know, no going to sleep on the couch or jerking the pillow sort of things, then all is well. Never go to sleep angry at the other person. If the angels come in the night...there is no second chance then.
