Made it!! You wouldn't believe the wind that came up when I was driving home. I drive a Nissan 300ZX and I had the T-tops off. I thought it might even start to thunder and lightening but it didn't.

We had a storm pound us with rain for a few minutes, one of those nice rainstorms with mild lightning that has literal walls of rain march down the road so that you drive into the clear and then run into it again.
