Sorry horsie. I will cook up sausage I buy in the store - but I won't make sausage... ick. I like for it to remain mysterious. They (whoever they are) say that making sausage is just like lawmaking. You just don't want to see it in progress.

My dad made sausage, several different varieties. It wasn't bad to watch, because he didn't put any suspicious items in it. He made the best sausage, and I miss it. My brother-in-law has the recipes. I'll have see about getting them, and buy a smoker, and making my own.
When my dad had a heart attack, he got on a low-fat kick afterwards. His sausage became so dry, we'd call it floor-sweeping compound. He had to add some fat back to it, or face our wrath!
