if the guy claims to be a Republican, if he can win, well, then jump on the bandwagon. Never mind how liberal his views and policy proposals are - there's an R behind his name, and we must line up and support him.

Unfortunately, this time there is no primary, it's a "First Past the Post" election.
Since the Dems have united behind Bustamonte, he is gonna win unless pubbies unite behind one candidate.
Ah-nold isn't good, but he sure is better than Bustamonte, and that is who Simon and McClintock are gonna elect if they stay in the race.

I agree up to a point, and I sincerely wish that Simon especially had stayed out of it. The pubbies are showing absolutely no discipline. I will probably end up voting for Arnold just to prevent a governor bustamante. The guy is a racist, not to mention tax the rich and spend flaming lib.

I am furious with Simon. He just looks like a jerk. At least Issa had the class the drop out. I hope McClintock drops out, as well, even though I support him. But, I can't stand the viciousness on those threads. Civil discourse, fine. But the nastiness is inexcusable.
