Toad Torture.
That way, in the future, little mean boys can't hand her froggies and such to scare her.

That's how my sis ended up not being afraid of frogs and slugs.
Some young jerk tried scaring her with a frog.
Instead, she took the frog and started caressing it between it's little bugeyes.
And cooed about how cute he was.
The little boy screamed that she was gross and ran.
So she chased him.
She got in trouble for chasing a boy with a frog.

Ruby Beach is on my itinerary for a vacation. When is the best time of year to do it?Well, it's a rainy coast. I'd say your best chance is in the summer, July, August. If you watch the weather charts and there is a big strong high sitting in the North Pacific the odds are the weather on the coast will be good. If you don't mind the rain then most any time is good.....
.....Westy......

I think the garden snake was what did it for her though.
All the kids in her class, including her teacher as well, had the poor snake surrounded and were screaming at it.
Well, sis waltzes into their midst, and picks the snake up.
They scream louder.
She tells them, "It's only a snake." and carries the poor demoralised thing to the treeline where it is released back into the wild wondering what the heck just happened.
Sis got in trouble and had to sit out recess for pretty much the rest of the school year that time.

Once we went fishing and Jessie found a snake .. she was about 4/5 at the time and yelled out .. Look Daddy, it's a big green worm ..
I never saw my husband move so fast .. ran over with a stick to pick it up and toss to another area away from the kids

That is Appalachia.
One is NOT encouraged to think or act in Appalachia.
It's almost funny in a way.
My sis, braver than even the wussy guy teachers there.
