Ahhh jeeeeeeeeeeze Loddy.. Do you have to do that? I know I'm supposed to eat a good breakfast, and now that you have implanted the idea in my belly, I will have to hit the kitchen and mess it all up again..

I've always averaged between 4-6-hours sleep a night and do fine...the sweet wifey on the other hand, demands her 8-hours.

I usually get my six..and that's all I need, but the weather is so bad again today that I won't mind sneaking a nap..

Does insomnia come with old age? I've never had trouble sleeping in my life. Now all of a sudden it's making me a little nervous.. It's not worry..as I'm as happy as a Loon.. ;)

That is fairly disgusting to show so early in the day when most of us are still working on getting the caffeine levels adjusted.

There's nothing much better than a great breakfast.

Cheers all.

For any of you paying attention to the goings-on in California with the recall of the goober, check this out:Just When Davis Thought it Couldn't Get Worse, It Did. What I posted is a link to the tread on FR. If you don't mind going to the LA Times site, go there and read the article if you're so inclinded. It'll brighten you morning, in that Terry McAwful had announced that the Dems wouldn't field any candidates in the recall. Well, the dam has been breached, and is about to crumble. :)

Pop some popcorn, have an adult beverage, pull up a chair, and watch the show!

I hope no one minds if I posted this political stuff on this thread; I just wanted to share this. It's going to be interesting, if nothing else. I've never seen anything like this in my time on earth!

Okay, okay.. so it's a conspiracy to spy on people's love lives.
I never said the Cabal(tm) was really intellectual in their doings.
Truthfully, it's inhabited by bored geeky techy types and nerds...
Beware, your very underwear may rat you out nextime!

Good link here - thank you.

CA will be providing the nation, if not the world, with some much needed entertainment for the next few months...too bad that it probably will not feature fisticuffs or dueling.

Have fun with it.

Good grief - my post is full of typos. Caffeine-deprived - which is now a permanent state, since I had to give it up.

Oh no! Couldn't you just cut back...for the last few years, I've been stopping the coffee, and starting the water around 10am.

True story from Sweden .......

After 17 years of marriage, a man dumped his wife for a younger woman. Their downtown luxury apartment was in his name and he wanted to remain there with his new love, so he asked the wife to move out and told her that he would buy her another place. The wife agreed to this, but asked that she be given 3 days on her own there, to pack up her things. While he was gone, the first day she lovingly put her personal belongings into boxes and crates and suitcases.

On the second day, she had the movers come and collect her things.
On the third day, she sat down for the last time at their candlelit dining table, soft music playing in the background, and feasted on a pound of shrimp and a bottle of chardonnay. When she had finished, she went into each room and deposited a few of the resulting shrimp shells into the hollow shaft of the curtain rods. She then cleaned up the kitchen and left.

The husband came back with his new girl and all was bliss for the first few days. Then it started, slowly but surely. Clueless, the man could not explain why the place smelled so bad. They tried everything -- cleaned & mopped and aired the place out. Vents were checked for dead rodents, carpets were steam cleaned, Air fresheners were hung everywhere.

Exterminators were brought in, the carpets were replaced, and on it went.

Finally, they could take it no more and decided to move. The moving company arrived and did a very professional packing job, taking everything to their new home -- including the curtain rods!

Thanks for the ping, nully. That picture is beautiful (as are all of Val's)!! On a few occasions I have seen a sky or landscape that was breathtaking - so I bought a good camera a few months ago and keep it with me just in case. It's been overcast and/or raining for the past three months. Go figure.
