Westy I think you need a lady to keep you company. Not a wife replacement just a good companion and friend. I know the world today is a stressful and ugly place. The stuff that is going on in the world today would make a lot of folks from days gone by roll over in their graves. Right is wrong, wrong is right, up is down, down is up, all that kinda stuff. Violence and rebellion everywhere. I get frustrated with it all too. All the governments are corrupt.

And we now have a new forest fire CLOSE. My God I went out on my deck and it smells like the trees are burning behind my house. The entire valley is full of smoke. We actually had a itsy bitsy shower in the middle of the night but it probably evaporated the minute it hit the ground. This is getting baaaaaaad. 52 days with high temperatures and virtually no rain. All the bears and rattlesnakes are coming down fromt he hills.

Lynn, yesterday while driving home I was listening to Michael Savage radio show..the part where he was a zillion percent behind the judge in AL who is going to take the decision to remove the 10 Commandments from the court house area all the way to the supreme court...while on the subjcet, Michael was giving a history lesson of the founding of this country, and the foundations ( christian judao (oh I can't spell it) ) which is the basis for the Dec of Independence...etc..really interesting stuff. And he was saying that unless we stand up and take a stand we ( who are in the majority) are going to be run over by the minority who, as you point out thinks up is down, wrong is right etc...and he is sick and tired too and makes a good point about how we are allowing any moral values to be washed down the drain in fabvor of not hurting a foreigner's feelings who is attending class here in this c ountry..by having our American Flag in the Classroom, or how we are willing to take God out of everything so we don't offend the Islamic groups.... ,p> I can understand whh Westy signs off with "To hell with it all"..it is frustrating to think that what you served for and fought for is so disrespected nowadays...you begin to wonder how did things get so off track...what in hell is wrong with people that they think our American Flag is something that in OUR country should be stowed away so we don't hurt foreinger's feelings? We need to get back to basics, get back to reality and stop all this c*#@*.. Well that is my rant..didn't mean to go on a tiraid..just sort of fell into it....

How are the kitties? Mine are having fun with the painting and all the redoing ..somehting new for them to get the tips of their tails into...they like to paint too....

Gorgeous Clouds, Westy.

We went up last night at 10:30 to watch fires burning down to Provo Ut, Lightning started. From 5:00 to 10:00 they burned a few square miles, the wind blowing them into town. It was really tense but the crews stopped them about 20 feet from a subdivision of expensive homes. Only one lost.

Your pic is a bit like the smoke rising from them.

I'm going to!! I just read on the local news that the fire was started by a lightning strike around 2am this morning. The smoke is thick. Smells like your right at the campfire!! I can hardly believe the absurdities in the weather around the country. Water shortages are the second most worrisome thing.

I have followed Judge Moore's battle CG. He is a courageous man and all I can say is God Bless him. He is absolutely right. When a Country kicks God out of their lives, out of their schools, out of their courts, God being a gentleman leaves people alone. However, he can no longer bless that Country either.

Smelly Wreck Weekend.

Fox news reported a semi full of frozen shrimp turned over on a freeway cloverleaf somewhere and spilled the whole load.

Fox News also reports a semi carrying 15,000 pounds of Garlic Powder hit a bridge somewhere in PA. and burned the whole load.
