The water in my hose is too hot. Do you have a cold hose?

For the first 10 or 15 minutes of running it the water in the hose is HOT. After that it is WAAAAAAAAY too cold for me to deal with.

That is because the sun heats the hose and its contents. While 15 minutes would indicate a very long hose or low water pressure, the water is cooler once the hoses contents are expelled. So a hot hose would have hot contents until... Somebody help me out with this fluid mech and thermal dynamics stuff. Is Robert in class today?
