In an age when it seems no one can keep a secret, I
am willing to bet a few bucks that if there were real aliens,
or their remains, we would be seeing them on Fox News.

I used to feel as you do concerning the inability to keep
secrets.  What it took to disavow me of this notion was
the impossible nature of the 'suicide' of Vince Foster in
Fort Marcy park.  No way, no how.  And yet, the
number of crimes that were involved in failing to bring to
light the real causes of this murder was a large number,
from medical doctors lying about the nature of their
hardware equipment to car keys magically self-
transporting to surveillance videotape disappearing.  I no longer believe in the need for humans to get truth out.

I'm beginning to wonder about your analytical capacities.

IT was OBVIOUS to me that you'd had orders of magnitude LESS of certain kinds of experiences and associations that I've had because of your posts and evident attitude.

Further, that you've evidently analyzed or probably not even read many orders of magnitude less documentation in the subject area than I have.

So, I was sort of chiding you for being so arrogant in your cheeky assertions based on such a paucity of such.

I stand by that construction on reality as it seems to fit you. Everything you've said since and your attitudes especially have overwhelmingly confirmed the above assessment, IMHO.

BTW, it didn't have to be construed as a negative initial reply of mine to you. You COULD have taken it as me saying merely that you haven't had as many of certain types of experiences as I have and you haven't read as many 100's of pages of documentation as I have. So what.

I understand that the government can make big mistakes and be sloppy, but this one doesn't add up. I'm an engineer and scientist by training, and I know how people are when conducting an investigation into something scientific. There would have been people going over that ground for weeks following the incident. If the government didn't want the public exposure of having them go over that ground in the open where they could be seen, then the government would have dug up most of the ground and preserved it for samples.

Another big hole is the notion that this guy was able to come home in a uniform that was suspected of being contaminated. Taking someone's clothes and giving him a new set is such an easy step in a contamination situation that there is no chance that it wouldn't have been done. If they didn't have other clothes available, they would have taken his clothes and sent someone to his home to get a second set of clothes. These steps are simple, and the notion that they wouldn't have been taken is silly.

Sure, they COULD have done all you said well.

But I'm not so sure THAT level of expertise AND foresight AND thoroughness

was readily resident AT THAT BASE AT THAT TIME.

You might need a lot of those tinfoil things, because a LOT of average people have seen some strange things! My grandparents lived in downtown St.Louis in the 60's [like The Brush mentioned].

They would go for a walk in the evenings and one night a dark object, flying low, passed over them without a sound. They said it was so large that it blocked out the whole sky! They offered no opinion because they had never seen anything like it before.

Sometime I'll have to tell you about the sister of one of my brother's friends who told me when I was a kid about an uncle of hers that was in the Army and worked with a guy who had gotten his plum job of driving brass around because he was a big-shot hero from exploits on a XXX super secret triple 007 project underneath the earth's crust where he was wounded battling space aliens and mole people. It's kind of a long story and even now I'm kind of skittish about relating the details since you never know who's reading stuff on the web - know what I mean? Anyway, its a spellbinder and sure to raise series questions about what is real and what is not...
