Exactly. This is not a boycott. The boycott is a media-driven phenomenon. But the magic is over. I can't listen to them anymore. The cable channel and some of the radio stations are trying to start playing their music again. It isn't working, at least for me. I don't wish them ill, I don't want them to have a bad life. I just can't listen to them anymore, them and several others who have made similar remarks lately.
Its not a boycott; they're just over.

I agree I can't stand the Dixie Chicks.... But sometimes I see grammar mistakes and have to point them out!!

'beautiful, exquisite music'?? I tried to listen to it once and it sounded like the closest thing to Muzak ever to go by the name of country music.

I love the Dixie Chicks. I don't tangle art with politics. I am from Boston. I bought the Dixie Chick CD about 2 days before the story broke about them in England. I don't care what one of them said! If our troops can't stand what a blond from a country band said then we are in trouble. I like their music and will even see them when they come to Boston.

Any time I hear their blasted music I can't think of anything else other than the fact that they insulted one of the greatest leaders of all time. They insulted my President, and they will now pay through the nose for it.
