It was Clinton-like in its patronizing dishonesty and incredible narcissism.

In so many words: "We said we 'support the troops' (code for "we just hope they get defeated", but we'll pass over that because it's bad for record sales) - why are all these extremists unfairly picking on us?"

This ought to rank up there with Connie Chung's interview of Gary Condit as a rehabilitation attempt which backfired. They came across as really loathesome.

I watched the ABC interview for a few minutes.

From what I heard, these gals really don't get it. They're typical of the Hollywood liberals and showbiz entertainment types, short on substance and long on emotional rhetoric. A frame of mind that is immature, self absorbed and down right stupid.
