The same thing happened to me with Steve Earle. These bozos really got to watch what they say. We don't need their music.

This is why I love James Taylor. Yeah, he's a lefty, heck you can tell just by LOOKING at him. Except for the "No Nukes" wierdness in the 70's, he's been very careful to craft that everyman image, and keep "partisan" politics transparent. Yeah, he'll sing about the environment, but I've never heard him say "Don't vote Republican" from the stage. He may be a lefty, but he's a good businessman.

Good point and "Two Lane Blacktop" was a pretty cool film.

I don't really have a problem with someone supporting a cause I don't agree with. I got a big problem with someone telling me:

-- I'm a bad person for holding beliefs I have. (George Clooney, Julia Roberts)
-- Seeing a moral equivilancy between murderers and American soldiers (Earle)
-- Thoughtlessly criticizing their country on foreign soil.(French Hens)
