It seems most here are hell-bent on just calling them silly, juvenile names and posting ridiculous pictures of Saddam Hussein super-imposed on their pictures.

Which wouldn't have happened if the Dixie Chicks wouldn't have acted the way they did.

Yet, you put all of your energy into criticizing the response instead of criticizing the action. That is the definition of an apologist, kneejerk or otherwise.

Yes they make money constantly - via sales royalties. Still when at concert they are being paid specifically for that time as a entertainer. They entertain and have achieved status through singing, not opinion.

So while a point of contention can be made as to their being 'on the clock' even as they spoke to Sawyer, one cannot with any hope of being taken seriously deny that the Dixie Chicks are not 'on the clock' during a concert performance.

Somewhere along the line I'd grabbed a CD I didn't mean to buy, so I returned the next day. The CD I'd turned around was still backwards.
