Why Doesn't Military Destroy Iraq TV Station?

I'm sick of all the crap that comes out of the Iraqi TV stations that Rumsfield freely allows them to spread to their populous.

They can spread false information about success, disgusting videos of mechanics taken prisoner (wow, what an accomplishment), and Hussein speeches.

There's no way their psy-ops that they spent millions on are going to work when they just allow this crap to be spewed daily.

They need to just bomb the @$%@ TV station, as well as any place where they are able to mass communicate their lies.

"In an appearance that will only stir the debate over his fate, Saddam Hussein turned up on Iraq’s state-run television Monday to urge Iraqis to "kill your enemy precisely and accurately." But he was vague in describing the U.S.-led military campaign aimed at toppling him from power and said nothing that would establish the precise time the tape was made."

This is from MSNBC. There's no way "saddam," or whoever it is, should have been allowed to give this speech.

There MUST be a reason why we haven't done this. I do not profess to know what that reason is. Perhaps keeping Iraqi television on, is pacifying the population, before we roll into town.

From what I understand, they no longer have al Jazeera, and they do have Iraqi TV news, plus a teenage-type program on the air.

Perhaps the populace of Baghdad is intelligent enough to be able to detect propaganda more than we would believe. Perhaps the populace is growing sick of seeing Saddam's taped image on the air, spouting off comments that do not equate with reality. That must speak volumes to the people of Iraq.

I have to assume we want to make use of the facilties once Saddam is ousted. Cut 'em some slack for once they're giving the US taxpayers a break, you know who'd get stuck re-building them!

I was watching FOX earlier today and one of the military analysts (I forget his name) said that the Iraqi TV station is inside a day care center.
