I hate to give the Hollyweird establishment big bucks from my entertainment budget to fuel their liberal engine, so I'm always happy to find a bargain:
"Family Video", a new video chain, has opened several stores in the Pittsburgh area. I just rented "Maid in Manhattan" which was released today, for $1.30, with a free "older" movie thrown in as the midweek special.
The rental rate on first run films is $2. a nite. Older kiddie films are free, and many old-time movies are $.50.
It sure beats spending 8 bucks a pop going to the cineplex, or $4.25 for renting at the big video chains. Prices must come down!
