Move on people...there's nothing to see here. So the blonde bimbo said something disparaging about our President. I do not in any way condone, but ENOUGH. Don't listen to their music, don't buy their CDs, don't go to their concerts. But for crying out loud let it go. Find something more mentally stimulating to discuss PLEASE.
A little while ago I would have been more than willing to do just that and chalk up their statements to ignorance and that'd be that. But I've been doing too much "moving on" lately. So no. I will not forget. I will not forgive.
I'm mad as hell and I'm not gonna take his $hit anymore! But in the end
you don't have to support the FReep and you can continue buying their music and listen to them all you want and we (their detractors) won't stop you. I would very much appreciate the same courtesy.

Well, if you through your TV out the window, you won't run the risk of seeing one of their videos on CMT now will you?

It struck a nerve with me as well. Something about doing it on stage and what they said about our president.
I'm in this for the longterm.

I do not like or rather hate what she said. She as a US citizen has the right to say what she wants. We have to remember we would not be able to protest like we are doing in any other country. No I do not plan on buying any of their CD's or going to their concert's. However, it is said and done, and I am going to let it go. The more hoopla we do the more publicity they receive, and that just makes her statement heard that much more. I agree let it go.

I agree, but by the same token I think Neil Young, Sheryl Crow and several other artists should be held to the same fire. I know country fans are largely very supportive of the President so it stings a little more but we shouldn't let the rest of these liberals off the hook. I just wish "artists" wouldn't use their celebrity to shove their opinions down people's throats. They have a right to free speech granted but they also have an unfair advantage to exploit their free speech. WVNan's Son Roy.
