Job 42
1 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,
2 I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.
3 Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.
4 Hear, I beseech thee, and I will speak: I will demand of thee, and declare thou unto me.
5 I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.
6 Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

My brother will be interviewing for a part-time job today at 2:00. He's a college student, and needs to develop another method of obtaining cash other than my dad's wallet.
Your prayers are appreciated. :)

I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee. Have mercy Lord! Prayers for pubmom's brother, and for all requests.

I posted this on another thread and meant to post it here. Prayers for my paternal grandmother--Sophie. She had a minor stroke and broke a few bones after a fall. I just lost my maternal grandfather on Saturday too:-(
As a word of praise, my husband found a job after only 3 weeks unemployed:-) A better job than the one he was laid off at to boot and we have other oppurtunities opening up.
Also praise for the plan God had for my mother--her dad is the one who just passed, but starting a little over a year ago, God started her on a road for what was coming. We did not know the plan then, but WOW, we are blown away at how he set my mother's feet on a certian road to prepare her for her father's death and dealing with his estate. She's shown me a strength, I never thought she had.
Not only that my estranged father has announced he is seperated from the woman whom broke up my parents marriage and he is a completely different person. His heart full of compassion, joy, and love. It's amazing folks!
I had all but given up on my parents recently and the Lord is really blessing us right now--where there is this distress of losing our old ones, at the same time he is blessing us so many times over. I am in awe of Him.
thanks for reading

Adding a prayer for all those listed above Lord. May you offer comfort in times of grief, strength in times of hardship, and wisdom in times of confusion. Hold up those Lord who are having trials right now.
In His name Lord
Amen

My brother got the job, praise God! He calls on Friday to find out when his training will begin.
Brothers and sisters, today I have another request. My best friend and her husband are to leave at 7am tomorrow on a flight bound for Cancun. She is very nervous about flying, and has asked for prayer.
I am very concerned about them leaving the country right now, as it appears from what I am reading that war is at hand. I'm not operating out of fear, but I pray that if they should not leave for vacation at this time, that circumstances would prevent them from doing so. If they are to go, I pray that they will have a safe trip. Please join me in praying for this couple, Thanks.
