I think it will be just north of where this photo is taken, in the Pariah Wilderness.
We announced to one of our scout troops that I would be leading a hike into some narrows, (Peekabo and Spooky in Escalante in April) and the other two troops requested that they be invited too, and nearly all the boys have set that aside on their calendar as 3 days to not miss, so I have to go back down and verify I remember where things are and how to get around.
Hikes are funny these days, I go back to places I've been before, and when I'm there, it is like I've never seen them before. I somewhat dislike these memory games the mind plays when it discards what happened and substitutes what was imagined...
By the way, that river is one mile straight down.
