Just wanted to clarify my remarks at #90. The N-word is not nice, and I don't justify its use by anyone, regardless of skin color. I don't use it, because it's just not what Christians should call other people, and I have no reason to use hateful language. Having said that, however, I will continue to object to 1) the double standard, whereby rappers and gangbangers can use it with impunity, while crucifying anyone else who might whisper it; and 2) the Democrat practice of falsely accusing Republicans of saying it, in order to garner favor with certain minority groups.

Ditto.

Sen. John Edwards appears unimpressed, even irritated with former Ambassador Carol Moseley-Braun and wonders where the coffee he told Braun to fetch him is, outside the AFL-CIO Political Directors meeting at the Diplomat Hotel in Hollywood, Fla., Monday, Feb. 24, 2003. Previously I posted my theory that it seemed likely to me that the Dems had coordinated the French/German opposition to Bush. Remember? My theory was that they were too afraid to take him on themselves, so they made arrangements for "Europe" to do it.

First, can anyone recall a single Dem who has criticized France/Germany for their obstruction of U.S. policy?? The Dems only criticize Bush for his failure to bring the "international community on board".

Well, now the Washington Post may be on to the story. In an article this afternoon Jim Vandehei reports that the Dems' new strategy is to attack the credibility of GWB. He writes,

"On an almost daily basis now, congressional Democrats are warning of a 'credibility gap' between what Bush says to the American people and what he does through new government policies."

"A top strategist for House Democrats...said party leaders are intensifying the campaign now to coincide with criticism of Bush's Iraq policy from world leaders. "On an almost daily basis now, congressional Democrats are warning of a 'credibility gap' between what Bush says to the American people and what he does through new government policies.

[AND THEN THIS]:
'What's happening in Europe has been the trigger,' the strategist said."

I think there might be more to this than even I realized. LINK
