I also received a prayer request for a husband that God would remove the anger and bitterness from him

I hope this is the right place to post this:

My grandfather recently found out he had leukemia.
He is now trying to recover from the effects of
chemo, but his platelet count has not been going
up and he seems weaker every day.

He is not a Christian and has been rather against
Christianity for most of his life, so he could
really use some prayer right now.

Please pray for the safety of our troops overseas in the Middle East who are about to go in harms' way, and please pray for President Bush, that the Lord may grant him wisdom in dealing with the current crisis in the Middle East.

I was recently laid off of my job, and I am seeking employment. Right now, financially, I am OK, and I praise God for that. From time to time, I do feel some despair over my situation, because I feel a great need to work, and there are not very many opportunities in my field right now. Please pray for me.

Here's an update on Mike&Joy'sMom and a new request, also for a mom.

Mike&Joy'sMom has been told that her lymphoma, while dangerous, is one of the less lethal types and she would have two good years without any treatment, and a very good chance of a total cure with treatment. This week she is seeing an oncologist to develop a strategy for chemo and/or radiation.

My Mom currently is down for the count with bronchitis and walking pneumonia. Praise God she has been with her company for over two decades and has about a million sick days...please pray for her healing.
