The boycott of Smith and Wesson by private gun owners almost drove them out of business and eventually got them to rescind the H.U.D. agreement. My guess is that firearm manufacturers don't get much of a margin out of their military and police government contracts and that their retail sales are where they make their profits. If Glock stands by this statement, we may all need to vote with our gun buying dollars.
