I'm curious how the band members of Great White (that were closest to the fire) got out alive while 1/3 of the crowd did not.

Most likely they used a different exit .. I think I heard there was a back exit the band used to bring their stuff in to set up

[null and void]

I also heard there were several exits available, but nearly everyone tried to cram out of the main entrance.

Don't know about you, but I always look for the nearest exit before I sit down...
