I still remember the first time I gave blood .. I went to work afterwards .. I was a waitress at the time It gets easier when you are a regular donor. Once I bounced off the table and ran off to a final exam. TOTALLY freaked out the nurse!

The Britts from the BBC are pretty smart to think of the boats They have had previous experience using boats during attacks on Washington, DC.
It is smart. Who knows which direction will be "upwind"? This way they can more to the safe side as needed.

Oil Shortage:
There are a lot of folks who can't understand how we came to have an oil shortage here in the USA. Well, there's a very simple answer. Nobody bothered to check the oil. We just didn't know we were getting low.
The reason for this is purely geographical. All the oil is in Alaska, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Wyoming, etc.
All the dipsticks are in Washington, DC.

Bad Day for Golf
Every Saturday morning he has an early tee time. He gets up early and eager,
golfs all day long, sometimes 36 holes.
Well, one Saturday morning he gets up early, dresses quietly, gets his clubs
out of the closet and goes to his car to drive to the course.
Coming out of his garage rain is pouring down; it is a torrential downpour.
There is snow mixed in with the rain, and the wind is blowing 50 mph. He
returns to the garage. He comes back into the house and turns the TV to the
weather channel. He finds it's going to be bad weather all day long, so he
puts his clubs back into the closet, quietly undresses and slips back into
bed.
There he cuddles up to his wife's back, now with a different anticipation,
and whispers, "The weather out there is terrible."
To which she sleepily replies, "Can you believe my stupid husband is out
golfing in that shit?"

I was shocked by the Clara Harris verdict
I am a native Houstonian.
I had two friends whose mothers got S&W divorces when I was in high school, but no one ever suggested putting them in jail for it.
I mean other than the DA.
I never saw anyone convicted and given time for this in Houston. The whole city has filled up with wuussies and other Yankees.
My family has been in Texas for 180 years. Having the right to kill someone who needed killing is one of the main reasons we moved here.
OK, it was the main reason we had to.
Same thing.
This is a gross injustice

Agree...at the same time a Williamson county (Georgetown) jury gave a paranoid schizophrenia victim 99 years for driving through a store front and killing a person.
Pick your county and your jury well.

Mike Tobin, the FOX reporter in Quatar just made a fool of himself on Shep Smith's show talking about 101st Airborn being the same troops that stormed the beaches at Normandy.
Airborn boy, Airborn. They jumped in the night before, miles behind the beaches.
How can someone pretending to be a war correspondent not know that?

The guy had gone off his meds, as so often happens. btw. If someone is on meds, and can think clearly, and decides to stop taking them, I think they are as negligent as you or I would be if we were sober and decided to drink a case of beer and then drive.
I think that is altogether different from killing somebody that needs to be killed.
On the other hand, someone who has never been properly diagnosed or medicated is not responsible for their actions in my judgement.
