My recipe is onion & garlic, 1/2 stick butter, catsup, vinegar, brown sugar (or honey), soy sauce, tabasco sauce, lemon juice & cornstarch...and, yes, after simmering for an hour it's very thick.

On a hot, sultry southern summer night there's nothing better than spicy grilled BBQ chicken, silver queen corn and fresh tomato pie. Add ice cold beer and you've reached BBQ heaven.

I never can decide which is better...the above on a hot summer night or a big pot of chili on a cold winter night. Thank God for "diversity".
