There's nothing on the WashTimes site that I could see, but do recall a similarly romantic photo from the Bushes' trip to Moscow, if that helps!

heheh - just checking in between chores - our weather has taken a sudden turn for the beautiful - we might reach the mid-sixties today.

Off to the grocer for some tuna to burn this evening.

I don't think the one in Moscow is the one. I wasn't listening closely to hear when it was taken but it looked like it was from the memorial for the Colombia.

Thanks for the hold overs til we find it!

How does one find pictures on the WashTimes site? I couldn't find any.

Thanks for the offer of a reward JL! When you see this picture you'll understand why it was all worth it.

Thanks, those give me inspiration, so I continue to look...

Poor Clooney the loony can dish it out, but can't take it:

BERLIN (Reuters) - George Clooney (news) reacted with a stream of invective when a journalist called the American actor's latest film -- the box office flop "Solaris" -- "boring" after it was screened at the Berlin Film Festival.

Clooney, who had even exposed his bare bottom for the camera in one scene in a bid to boost the film's commercial appeal >b?[Fat lot of good that did for the film], was happily answering questions at a news conference late on Saturday when a reporter rose to say the film was boring.

"I find you fascinating," Clooney said, responding to the Turkish journalist's remarks on the film, which got decidedly mixed reviews in the United States. [Decidedly mixed reviews? It bombed, big time.]

"You crack me up, man. You just wanted to get up and be a rat, you know that? You just wanted to get up and say something rotten. What a jerk! I mean honestly, you know, what a (expletive) thing to say!" said Clooney.

This a bit further down in the story...

It flopped at the U.S. box office with revenues of just $15 million -- the same as the amount Clooney is said to command for his appearances. [Did I say it was a bomb? Make that a moth-eaten bomb.]

Back to the cat fight:

The critical journalist said that much had been written about the film, "but I found it boring."

"You make a lot of films, do you?" Clooney asked rhetorically. "You make a lot of films yourself? Yeah, I'd like to see you make a film first before you get to talk about it. What a jerk!" What does the author think of the film?

Madonna jumps on the anti-war bandwagon.

Editing is in progress on a musical video concept which insiders say may be the most shocking anti-war, anti-Bush statement yet to come from the showbusiness industry.

MORE

"She's taking it all the way this time," one source said from Los Angeles over the weekend, "pushing all of the buttons... It is a sweeping political commentary on the modern 'American Dream' and how 'nothing is what is seems.'"

The song will be released to radio next week.

Dressed in commando fatigues, Madonna throws grenades as the techno terror beat pounds, claims a source. Limb-less men and women are reportedly shown, with bloody babies. More from Drudge

Madonna, on her way to cementing her irrelevance.

Does it show all of the people jumping out of the Twin Towers too? What about the flight attendants getting their throats slit? Oh wait, they don't care about war brought to this country, just the war in Iraq.

I wish I could spit in her ugly tooth-gapped face

This has always been my favorite picture of George & Laura. Is this it?

I've always thought he looks like he's imagining his life without her. Sigh... Someone on another thread saw it too and said Chris remarked "Wouldn't you love to be caught on camera looking at your wife like that!".

I'm glad to hear about that segment on Chris's show. He has an unflagging ability to surprise me...that's why I still faithfull watch Hardball. (Never can remember to watch the Sunday show).

Amen, Aggie Mama! The Hollywood pacifists so quickly have forgotten their crocodile tears of the weeks following 9/11/01. Remember the TV special with all the candles, where all the celebrities tried to demonstrate how deeply they were affected by the attacks? The only thing that's "deep" about Madonna, Clooney, Hoffman, et al., is the anti-American excrement they spew and in which they currently wallow.

Blubba parties with NBA players before last night's All-Star game:

• Former president Bill Clinton was spotted enjoying the festivities Saturday night at the NBA Players' Association party, apparently the hottest ticket in town. Miami Herald

Hmmm, NBA players: women, cocaine and more women - that sounds about right.

Women in the U.S. House and Senate will strive to educate other women about the importance of being screened for heart disease by getting tested themselves to promote "Woman's Heart Day."

Female lawmakers, such as Sen. Barbara A. Mikulski, Maryland Democrat, and Rep. Julia Carson, Indiana Democrat, are among those who have agreed to undergo public screening tomorrow for heart disease, the nation's No. 1 killer of all Americans and women.

They will be checked for glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure levels and more. Results will be provided on-site at the Capitol. Washington Times

Of course, Sen. Hildebeaste is exempted, as she has no - well, you know.

Michelle Malkin on how the "Hillary amendment" subverts immigration law and endangers Americans:

The Hillary amendment will prevent the Department of Homeland Security from taking any action to deport spouses or children of September 11 victims who: crossed the border illegally; overstayed visas illegally; evaded prior deportation orders illegally; stowed away on a ship illegally; smuggled other illegal aliens; used fraudulent documents; falsely claimed U.S. citizenship; voted illegally; have a communicable disease or who failed to present documentation of having received vaccination against vaccine-preventable diseases; have a physical or mental disorder and behavior associated with the disorder that may pose, or has posed, a threat to the property, safety, or welfare of the alien or others; or are likely at any time to become a public charge. link

I am in full support of Health Screening. However, I'm dubious about posting the results on line. Are the men's vitals posted on line? I doubt it. If EVERY elected official in the House and Senate makes this info available on line, then I support it.
