The Guild 2-7-2003 Night O' the Freaks

Posted on 02/07/2003 5:36:39 AM PST by BigWaveBetty

That was some Thursday night! Two freak shows in one four hour period.

First up was Michael Jackson, very, very disturbing. If you were fortunate enough to miss it you can read what you missed on Hillary's Lovely Legs Live Michael Jackson thread.

Then later on Larry King Alive we were treated to the other king o' the freaks, William Jefferson Clinton. Read the transcript here.

As usual it was all about him. Me, me, me, I, I, I. Particularly amusing was this quote concerning North Korea:

We had a tough time with them, but we got them to end that program and they kept it ended until apparently today they started again.

Uh no bill, they never shut down their nuke program you unbelievably stupid worm.

Here's one about The Liebary that went right over stupid's head:

KING: We have a little advance here to show you. Kind of a virtual tour, a quick virtual tour of what will be the William Jefferson Clinton Library. Watch.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

CLINTON: Our of Democracy must be not only the envy of the world, but the engine of our own renewal. There is nothing wrong with America that cannot be cured by what is right with America.

A leader who guided America through a period of great transition. This presidency will forever be captured at the 12th presidential library. The William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Center and Park.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

KING: Kind of cooky.

CLINTON: That's easy. That's my DVD. [Whoooosh! Didn't catch that kind of cooky (should be spelled kooky ya stupid CNN kooks!)comment eh bill? Bill was too busy being proud of himself.]

KING: Where's it going to be?

CLINTON: In Little Rock. Right on the Arkansas River.

A night of freaks, that's what Thursday night was!

Mmm, I like that proposed menu, especially the thought of chili (it's about 15 degrees here this a.m.). Don't forget the cornbread! I'll be happy to make it, as the oven's already on for the oatmeal raisin muffins that have about five more minutes to go.

The thought of BBQ and corn on the cob will sustain me through the rest of this very cold winter. (Darn that global warming).

Hey!

Yeah, I saw that mountain of laundry and said, ............"Aw the heck with it!"

Hubby said, "Try out the new server. I think you'll find it faster and better", so here I am.

Mountaineer, we got 7 inches of snow Friday night. How about you? This global warming thing really has gotten to us this winter.

Whitney Houston skipped her father's funeral. That will show him, by golly!

Father and daughter had been embroiled in a lawsuit since August, when John Houston sued Whitney for $100 million, arguing he had saved her career after she was charged with pot possession in Hawaii in January 2000. The charge was ultimately dropped.NY Daily News

Who will self-destruct first, Michael Jackson or Whitney Houston?

After looking at this picture, it looks like Michael's face is on it's way to self -destruct. Whitney is on her way too. She and her hubby were here in my town just a few months ago. Bobby was treated and released from the hospital. I don't know what happened, I suspect drugs.

You folks to our southeast got all the snow this time - only an inch or two here. This has been the coldest and snowiest winter in recent memory, though. I'm still laughing (kind of) over Clinton's stupid comment at the Rolling Stones concert that if we don't do something about global warming, a chunk of Manhattan will fall into the ocean. Why does no one challenge him on these baseless, stupid claims?

More than 700 women have posed nude in Australia in a mass protest against their country's support for possible military action against Iraq. The naked demonstrators, aged 20 to 60, used their bodies to form the words "No war" on the side of a hill in Byron Bay, New South Wales. full story

Well, sure - it's not winter down there!

He said that??? What a maroon! You gotta give him credit. He's always working his special insterst groups. When all you've got is a bunch of splinter groups in your party, you better keep the few you've got happy.

I suppose the reason why they don't call Bubba on it, is because it's the same as taking Courney Love seriously.

I'm of the persuasion that there is not "women's work" or "men's work," it's all work and the sooner we pitch in and get the crap over with, the more time we'll have to freep or watch the tellie, or whatever we wish to do with our leisure time.

You can come and bounce a quarter off the sheets. ;-)
