Authorities say sometime in the last week someone walked out with one of the most rare cognacs on earth, a bottle of Pierre Ferrand that's nearly 200 years old.
The bottle is one of only 60 of its kind made in 1806, and is worth an estimated $10,000. It's one of only nine that ever made it to the U.S.
While expensive jewelry theft is common in Naples, police say they've never seen a robbery where rare booze was taken.
Bacchus of Naples' owner says his store has plenty of security cameras, and he's hoping the video will reveal something. Police say there are no signs of a break-in at the store.
Published reports in the past said that Bacchus of Naples actually had two of the bottles, but the owner told us he only had the one. He calls it "irreplaceable."
Another Naples thief broke into a house and got away with a much cheaper drink. Police say the burglar apparently didn't find anything of much interest in the home - except for a six pack of Mountain Dew.
The soda, with a value estimated to be somewhat less than the cognac, was the only thing stolen from the Pine Grove Lane home.
