Good morning Sundog.. How's every little thing?
To: grannie9
Peachy, Hon.
We had a little upset in our home on Friday. The Karate instructor asked my daughter to come down to the DoJo on very short notice, and when she did, she was given a very severe examination of her Karate skills by the area grand master, and at the end of it she was invited to test for her Black Belt on March 3d. She came home quivering from the test and the implications, but we have been making travel plans because the test is to be given in Irvine, Ca, and 2 of her friends might be going, one to drive since he has family in the area and another who was also invited to test. She is a little calmer now...
What's been happening in your neck of the woods? I've been following the chat here, and I looked up pulchritudity too.

Didn't I see where Great White's guitarist is among the missing?

Lake Quinault Lodge - Olympic National Forest
Thanks for showing me the waterfall. I found a slide show of the walk from the lodge to the waterfall and it looks like a beautiful place to visit.

(pulchritudity for everyone.)
To: Sundog
Yes, I believe that their guitarist is missing. The lead singer certainly didn't seem torn up over that fact at all when he gave the media an interview immediately after the fire in an attempt to cover his ample butt...what a mess.
To: Sundog; habs4ever
Well.. she must be one happy camper.. That's quite a big thing for her to pass..and she must be thrilled and nervous too. Good for her.
Now, which daughter is that, the one in the car or one of the ones outside it? Can't tell which of the three is your wife..;)
I did not look up pulchritudity. If Habs said it, I want him to explain it..and I"m almost sure that if it's bad, he will use me in the example..somehow.... ;)
To: Kathleen
Not only that, but can you believe he said he was continuing their tour just a couple days later?
What a fine group they must be.. I hope no one shows up, but I'm afraid they'll be mobbed, if only to prove a point or out of sick curiosity..
To: grannie9
The one on the right is my wife and sweetheart, the one on the left is Vanessa, the karate & computer science girl who turns 20 in May, and the one in the car is Angela, who is 17 in June.
Cheers.
p.s. I can't get in the mood for working, I'm going to have to take a break and find some place that serves a good cup of coffee.

Where did they think they were playing, Madison Square Garden with the pyrotechnics? Stick a fork in the club owner, he's done. Very sad indeed.
To: Kathleen
You know the owner of the Club. used to be a TV news reporter in Boston. Al recognized him right away. What a jam he's in. I sure wouldn't want to be him, or have what he'll have on his concience the rest of his life.. right or wrong..
Terrible thing...
To: Sundog
Oh.. ok..now I have them straight. I knew one was in college, and one took Karate, but I didn't know they were one and the same..
Thank you...... ;)

Day before he sold the club. The very next day the owner was going to be free and clear of it. That lost deal has to be one of the hardest things to come to grips with. The reports say the owners are not too cooperative. Ouch...
Then again, why didn't any of the singers say -- Ladies and Gentlemen, I think we need the fire exits opened, this is not a part of the show...
